New FDA Guidance Document Search Now Available

January 16, 2015

In response to feedback from visitors, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has introduced a new guidance search on FDA.gov to make it easier to search and browse FDA guidance documents.

Visitors to FDA.gov can rapidly search the agency's guidance documents using key words, product, date of issue, FDA center or office, type of document, subject, draft or final status and comment period.

Guidance documents represent the FDA's thinking on particular topics, policies and regulatory issues. Guidance documents are prepared for applicants, sponsors, the public and FDA staff, and are used by stakeholders to understand the agency's interpretation of regulations and policies.
