Rescheduled 2020 and 2022 Biennial Meetings

Published: June 23, 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Biennial Meeting will now be held from April 12 - 16, 2021, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Denver, CO. In addition, the 2022 Biennial Meeting in Houston, TX has been postponed to April 24-28, 2023 to provide 24 months between the next two biennial meetings.

FDA understands responding to the COVID-19 pandemic requires extraordinary measures including changing the dates for our next two biennial meetings. The agency is willing to be flexible and work with the Conference. It is likely the next edition of the Food Code will be published in 2022.

All biennial meeting registrations received to date will be carried forward to the newly scheduled meeting date in 2021. Our current practice of processing refunds when requests are submitted in writing will remain in force; refunds will be minus the $100 CFP membership dues which will be valid until the biennial meeting held in 2023.

We hope you understand the circumstances that resulted in these actions. More details about the biennial meeting in 2021 will be shared once plans are finalized.
