CFSAN Director Sundlof to leave FDA for Teaching Position
US FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg announced to day that Stephen Sundlof, Director of the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, will leave the agency after 16 years to teach at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Michael Landa has been named as the Acting Director of CFSAN.

FDA Announces Proposed Rules for Safe Transport of Food
The Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition announced today that it is proposing rules to implement the 2005 Safe Transportation of Food Act
